I read some comments about this product, such as loose connectors, screws, wire etc. In my case, I checked the item and I can confirm, the manufacturer has worked hard to correct all the loose screws, wires and connectors.I used it for End Fed Wire Antenna (EFWA) specifically for slinky antenna as I need to generate frequency below 10 MHz for Lab experiment measurement. The Unun gave approx vswr less 1.2 on my NanoVNA. Also I connect approx 450 Ohm across counterpoise and antenna terminal, and the vswr reading was good,, less 1.2

Had to resolder one of the leads. Works great. FT8 on 30 watts for about an hour before it gets heat saturation and my tuner goes wonky.Would buy again 10/10.Would build my own next time though!

Maybe some of these baluns work, but the one I received certainly wouldn't. The so239 connector was loose, the wire inside "soldered" to it was loose and rotated separately of the so239. the wire from the toriod to one of the screws on the side of the box wasn't even soldered in place. Finally the glue that was supposed to hold the toroid still in the box didn't stay attached, to the whole thing tattled around inside. Glad I checked, as this defective unit could have fried my radio had I tried to transmit into it.

Lo uso en un radio de onda corta, mejoro notablemente la recepción.Sólo hay que protejerlo de la lluvia, no viene bien sellado e ingresa agua al interior.

Connectors were loose for antenna terminal and counterpoise. Nut was loose for 50 OHM coax. Not a 9:1 UNUN from what I can guess it is a 6:1 at best. It would not tune on well on any band but was close on 30m. From the picture you can see I rewound the toroid to be a 9:1 and with 47" wire and Counterpoise it works well. I guess the case terminals and coax connector are somewhat worth it.

Was able to get some distant contacts pretty quick. I had a couple of lengths of 12ga wire from other antenna projects left over. One short 9' and the other around 40'. I hooked these up and hung it from my flag pole and tied the far end to my porch. I was able to make contacts pretty quickly in the US as well as France and Italy from Massachusetts.But what the other reviews have said, pretty much everything on this came loose. Not exactly made with pride, but it does work. Handled 100 watts ssb without issue. Very easy to assemble a random wire antenna with this. Just attach random length wire to the end (longer the better but some lengths wont tune all bands) and a small counterpoise and you are good to go.
