The cheaper option for carboys when I searched amazon, very happy with the quality and it coming with the airlocks.

Todo bien con el producto, la única razón por la que le doy 4 estrellas es que los agujeros donde se ponen los airlock, pareciera que los hizo un inepto amateur. Aunque bueno, enbonan los airlock como mínimo.

Got these for fermenting some basic meads and sake that have alot of solid material in them. The wide mouth makes it easy to place and remove materials. Also makes it easier to clean.As far as sturdienss goes they arn't the best. The glass is relitively thin and I am a little extra careful with these comapred to other glass carboys i have. But for the price they are well worth it.

los frascos definitivamente son de una calidad que por ese precio los consigues por tan solo 25 dolares los 2 en una tienda donde venden todo de vidrio solo compras los dispositivos para intercambio de gases y listo, estos hace 15 dias costaban 25 dolares lo que era un precio meramente razonable si comparamos la calidad ya que si bien no parecen caros a simple vista en 25 dolares, pero cuando los ves de cerca a detalle entenderas el porque lo digo el punto que de 25 dolares pasaron a 100 de un dia a otro a eso le llamo abuso, pero si lo ves positivamente te abre otras opciones y una de ellas es buscar otros y encontrarlos mas baratos como fue mi caso....

I put a whole 6lb cabbage in one. I can easy put a 10lb cabbage in it. The holes in the lid were not aligned but I kept twisting the inner liner and it lined up perfectly. When I first attached the rubber ring and attempted to put on the double airlock on, the rubber ring popped off. I just turned the ring upside down and again, PERFECT. Lovely, strong, easy to clean, easy to fit my arm in to push the cabbage down and easy to put the weights in. I love these jars and highly recommend!

Bad news first:Glass is somewhat thinner than the industrial plug stopper versions.Good news:It has a wide mouth for extremely easy cleaning versus the industrial bottles.If you're not moving your jars then you really don't have to worry about breaking them.These come with the sealing lids, rubber gaskets, and vent systems with them.If you are making meads, cyser, or anything where you're putting large fruit then you're going to want a wide mouth opening for easy removal so you don't have to use a coat hanger to pull out the chunks. The white mouth also allows you to get your hand in there and touch the surfaces with the soapy sponge to thoroughly clean it.If you're starting out hobby alcohol making then these are perfect for you. If you want to step up your game you should look for a five gallon carboy with a wide mouth. But for me, I make small batches and so I have six of these with different flavors going. I also have two extra so I can rack them over. If you're contemplating these and you're reading this review just pull the trigger on these. These are the ones you want. You won't regret these for use as fermenting jars.
