These are really good. If one has any hand strength problems such as R/A, etc they're a little hard to pull out. But the sound is definitely one draw attention.

I tried two of the twelve and they worked as advertised. Definitely loud enough and annoying enough the strobe light can be confusing for an attacker especially if shoved in their face. Won't make anyone deaf or blind them but does draw attention. The way the pull tab is setup if you wanted to use them as an intruder alarm you could. Just anchor to a door or window and tie a string across the threshold or to the window pane. When either is opened it'll pull out the tab.

Bought this 3 pack to put in the stockings of my daughter and my 2 daughter-in-laws. The girls were trying them out, 1st time each alarm worked great! But after a couple pulls the alarms completely quit working. The light will still flash but no sound comes out. Can't belive they've had these for less than a week and they are already broken. Do not purchase!!!

They are pretty loud but not ear piercing, so wondering over a distance if they will work well. Small compact and easy to use. One concern with previous alarm like this was it went off too easy by itself sometimes, this one is better since you have to pull the top off. Overall not sure if it will ever do any good (unlike mace or other weapon) but better than nothing I guess.Good day.
