I've been a big tea drinker for a very long time and I'm always looking for new ways to make me being able to drink tea all day everyday easier for me and more convenient. This one's been my EDC for the last week and so far I'm pretty impressed. I have a ridiculous amount of different pots and On The Go kits and all kinds of tea infusers and gadgets to try to make bringing tea on the go with me and not just available at the home a reality and so far this is one of the best contenders yet. There's only just a few cavities that I have with it. The mug itself is phenomenal. I've made steaming hot tea and 8 hours later was only just a smidge less temperature than when I first brewed it and was almost still undrinkable 8 hours later because of how steaming hot it was. Even with the lid off it lasts for a very long time before cooling down and I can sip on a brew for about 2-3 hours without having to worry about it getting cold on me. Then fuser is also really nice I love how it's an enclosed infuser. The rubber gasket thing makes it super easy to pop open and put the tea leaves in and get the tea leaves out. I usually steep my leaves three to four times or more sometimes so it's nice being able to have a little compact infuser. I like how this one also comes with a zip guard or splash guard that just pops into place and stays put. Everything fits very nicely even the infuser pops into place correctly and it's very easy to get out. It also comes with a small funnel piece for getting the water in there but I don't really use that or take it on a go with me. I have it on the Go water boiler thing and when I'm at home I just use one of the Primo dispensers with 5 gallon thing on it so I pretty much have hot water on demand as often as I want with very good quality so I can get really get the flavors of the tea. The only Cavite that I have with this one is when taking it with you there's no way to store the zip guard on top of the infuser with the lid on so I have to carry that separately instead of a fully compact to go kit. I think that this could have been avoided by just making the mug a little bit taller in the top portion enough to fit it on top of the infuser maybe even upside down or something to be able to just take the whole entire kit with me on the go with leaves preloaded in it infuser and then the zip guard stored in top and I don't mind taking that infuser out wherever I'm at done storing that somewhere. Also the funnel there's no way to really bring that along either even though I don't really use that unless I'm at home sometimes so I think that that is kind of a little bit useless but it's a nice addition I suppose. Other than those two things I think it's 100% worth the money if you drink tea as long as I do. It keeps the tea hot for a super long time it's super easy to infuse and keep the water really hot for steeping the tea and also the zip guard is very nice touch so so far this is about my favorite on the go tea accessory I have

I've purchased/used several tea diffusing travel mugs in the past from ceramic to bamboo and metal. My wife loves tea as much as coffee so they get used on a daily basis, multiple times a day. The taste quality is worth the added expense for a quality mug specially made with infusers for tea leaves. Her favorite ceramic ones included a tea chamber but have already been replaced 2x from accidental drops so it was great to see this stainless option. As we have a Fellows kettle, we know the quality and durability of their products. But the standout is being both very functional and modern - something that's hard to do, even at higher price ranges. The style goes well with our midcentury modern decor and looks great. The Carter tumbler set looks even better in person, feels solid and good in the hand and has great quality components, especially the tea diffuser with its longer chamber that allows the leaves to bloom and bring out more of the flavors. My wife was completely impressed as so many of her "I wish this had..." check boxes got checked and then some. This isn't an ordinary travel mug, and the ceramic favorite had a much smaller chamber so this one has already surpassed expectations. Now with 2 hot liquid products from Fellows, the quality has shown to be well worth their price tags for the quality, durability, style and unique functional aspects that make a big difference from others. I highly recommend this travel mug for any tea lovers out there and would make an excellent gift for a loved one or special someone to impress.

Tea has been in my life since I was a kid. My parents lived near an Indian market, and every time my mother and I walked by, we were seduced by the aroma of spices. The merchant had a big dispenser from which you could pour hot, strong, black tea into a styrofoam cup. The lady who owned the store taught me to put evaporated milk and lots of sugar in the tea. She also always gave me a sweet. I was hooked.Every contraption that has ever been invented to make loose-leaf tea, I have bought. And mostly discarded. And a contraption for making loose-leaf tea in a to-go cup.…well, why bother. It’s impossible to make good tea in a to-go cup. Until this Fellow Carter Mug with Tea Infuser. Whoever designed this “contraption,” gave it a whole lotta thought. So how do I love this Fellow Carter Mug with Tea Infuser…Let me count the ways: to begin with, a Carter Mug is the. only thermos worth having — for either hot or cold beverages. The thermos has a ceramic interior, which will not alter the flavor of your beverage. You may gotten used to the taste of stainless steel, but if you had a beverage from a ceramic thermos and the same beverage from a stainless steel thermos, you’d notice the difference. The stainless steel gives beverages a slight metallic tang. (I already have 2 Carters; this is my third, so I obviously love them.)The Carter Tea Infuser is made up of several parts, all of which are devilishly useful. There’s the body of the infuser, where the loose tea goes — or the coffee powder (for overnight cold brew). It’s the perfect size for leaves to unfold and expand, instead of being squished together in a smaller infuser. The perforations in the infuser are minute. They allow water to flow through, but they don’t allow coffee powder or tea dust to filter out into your beverage. The infuser is made up of 3 parts, which you don’t immediately notice. The top metal part is encased in a silicone housing that fits the infuser. All the parts come apart and together, for washing etc., very easily. There’s also a funnel — which is a 4th part — to keep your loose leaves and coffee powder from making a mess on your counter. Espresso portafilters have had dosing funnels for years, so it was about time tea makers got one. When the timer for your tea to be done goes off, you pull out the infuser by the silicone knob. But beware, the infuser can be hot. Then you put the infuser in the sink and turn to the 5th part: THE SPLASH GUARD. I must admit I didn’t immediately know the purpose of the round metal thing that looked like a drain filter. Then I realized that it snaps into the Carter — after you’ve made your tea. To keep you from splashing yourself. Or your car. (Because thankfully, this Carter fits into your car’s cup holder.) But the really devilishly clever part of the design for the splash guard is that it will keep your beverage HOT, FOR A LONG, LONG TIME. That feature will allow you to sip your tea slowly — without having to keep screwing it on and off.But there’s another use for this Carter Mug and Tea Infuser. My husband and I have sushi nearly every Friday. I always make oolong, or green tea to go with our sushi. But the Asian pot that I have for brewing the tea is tiny compared to the Carter. So from now on, I’ll be using the Carter to make my oolong tea, and to pour it into proper tea cups. I’m in love with this Fellow Carter Tea Infuser. So I’ll soon be giving it away to everyone I love.

I have other Fellow products and am generally very happy with the quality and care they put forth to create an attractive and functional product. This insulated tumbler is not a new item for them, and if I separate the tumbler from the infusion brew system for a moment, I find that it would be more comfortable for my hand and better fit in my car's cup holder if it was maybe a 1/4" narrower in diameter. The inside is white ceramic, which I believe is a choice for best flavor. From my attempts at coffee cold brew I see that it is already starting to permanently stain. For the infuser, it comes in many pieces. There is a bottom, a barrel, a top that has an interesting strainer shape, and a splash guard that can pop in when you remove the infuser assembly. For cold brew coffee, I find that if I use the recommended amount of coffee grounds for 16 oz cold brew, it displaces so much liquid volume that in the end I only have about 8 oz of brewed cold brew. It is also a task to clean all the parts and dispose of your used coffee grounds. I suppose if you are a coffee aficionado this is worth the time and effort for the perfect cup.Overall I was happy with the system. It also kept the coffee temperature cold 8 hours after I removed it from the fridge.

Made my day today, I was unable to find my coffee so I went back to tea and tried this. I'm glad I did, it's like falling into a nice warm rabbit hole with the delicious beverage at you side. The build quality on this is rather intense. You fall for the simplicity of the art if this Canaster full of delicious brewed tea. I really adore the design, its very chic and the size is not to small but just not enough for my spouse but perfectly fine for my needs. The cleaning is pretty simple, and it's easy to understand how things work and function. I cannot see anyone really having an issue with this beverage container other than maybe its just not big enough to last until the next time you have to go make it again. This was devilishly good, but worth the price. It might be too expensive for some but any good tea drinker will tell you. They would sell the pantry for a decently sized, high-quality container. This foots the bill! Only negative is certain teas aren't meant to seep super long so make sure you choose the right one. Otherwise you might find a bitter beverage and no one wants that, least of all me. Enjoy your beverage and get that comfy chair ready!
