I heard from a professional that it was better to change out your filters more regularly, like seasonally, even if they were cheaper, than to buy high quality filters and change them less often. I went to change this filter when the app said so and it was waayy overdue.For a fraction of the price, these filters do the same work and do it well. If you have asthma or other breathing challenges, just change these out every 90-days. The two pack is perfect so I always have a spare around to change out with each season (90-days.) Below I have a picture tour of swapping filters so you can see what I mean.Picture Tour:✅ New filter next to the machine and oriented correctly.✅ Opening up the purifier, the pre-filter was way more dirty than I would expect it to be. 😱 Set that aside carefully. 😅✅ Removed the filter carefully. Wow is it dirty. Note to self: do NOT rely on the filter timer on the app. and just change every season. Definitely affordable IF you buy these filters compared to the OEMs.✅New filter in place. Fits perfect.✅ Gently washing the pre-screen in the sink.✅ Here I am drying the cleaned pre-filter in the sink with my air-gun cause I'm impatient.✅ Filter and pre-filter in place. Everything cleaned up.✅ Cover back on, starting with these bottom hinges that hold it in place. 👍✅ Inside the app it's kinda confusing. Under filter management there's a "filter replacement" screen where you can reset the filter timer.✅Once you click the reset button, you'll have the timer set to 100% and stop getting notifications.Tips Overview: 💡✅ Its better to change cheap filters more frequently than rely on expensive filters. 👍✅ Change filters with each season. I set a calendar item for the start of the next season to replace the filter. I noticed having issues leading up to the "change filter" notification and I didn't put 2&2 together. With the same design, fit, and filtration rating, the only difference I notice between this filter and the original is the color. These filters have a substantial feel, which I appreciate as it gives me confidence that they’ll perform at the promised level. Honestly, I can’t think of a reason not to use these filters—unless you can find a similar option for less. That said, I have noticed other alternatives that claim the same performance at a lower price. Price aside, however, I’d say these are a solid buy.

So excited to find this deal. I’m not one to buy “fakes” but I trusted the reviews and tried it. My husband bought me this air purifier for Christmas 2 years ago, so the original filter is over 12 months used. It’s almost always on. We have one big dog, non smokers, suburban area with lots of trees, the occasional burnt meal…..I wanted the VOCs filter to clean out the air from unwanted chemicals that could be lingering from recent purchases. I didn’t want to pay $60 for 1 Levoit. No damage to package, was shipped in larger box with smaller items also purchased. The green filter does have a a thicker foam lining so it took a moment of adjusting to fit it in pace snug. I reset the air filter button and you can see the red circle, within a few moments it went to green and then blue. Time will tell if it works or not. I clean the fur filter frequently, vacuum it off once a week, and rinse and dry once or twice a month. No complaints first day anyway.Filters in the picture have new one on left and old one on right.

I’m pleased with the fit and performance so far. Once I’ve had the filter in operation long enough to see what it has picked up, I’ll return to update this review with a comparison.I took a photo of the new filter next to the old (and dirty!) one that I replaced. The new filter seems to have fewer surface pleats and, therefore, a smaller filtering surface.
