I have two reviews for this product. One for the intended purpose and the other for "off label" filtration. As intended, putting almost 5 lbs of coffee grounds inside and putting it in a 5-gallon bucket to make a huge batch of cold brew. For this purpose, using the product as intended, I am very impressed. The fabric is strong and flexible and wasn't easy to accidentally tear stirring the contents of the bag. Easily strong enough to handle the weight of the grounds and the water. Filter bag is totally permeable enough to handle this situation where there is the weight of water/coffee behind the filter pushing the water out.For this purpose, the product gets 5/5. Totally buy these if you want to make large batches and need filter bags. Now, for the off-label use. I go through a bit more than a gallon of cold brew in the ~two-week period I could store it in my fridge, so the idea of making 5 gallons at a time isn't practical for me. What I thought I'd be able to do is to cut up these bags and use them like "normal" filters rather than using a paper filter on my one-gallon batch. Well, that was a bit of a disaster. Remember above when I was talking about the bags being permeable enough when there is the weight of water behind it? Well, pouring my coffee into mason jars with the filter stuffed down an inch or two into the jar and "sealed" with a mason jar ring does not allow much weight of water to be poured in, and that was an unmitigated disaster. Pouring 6-8 oz into the filter and leaving it got a majority through in an hour or so, but the rest didn't filter, even overnight. The next time I tried this, I put a piece of the bag over a small pot and poured my coffee into that. Similar results except for the fact that there was more water, so more weight, and most of it went through. Once it got to the bottom, I picked up the bag and was able to gently squeeze the rest of the liquid through. A clear win!I think the moral of this story has to be that maybe I'm not quite as smart as I think I am, and also maybe I should follow manufacturers' recommendations to get the best experience out of products I buy. Who knew?

Love it. The quality is excellent. When I first received it I thought it was very small. However, I put it in our West Bend 12-cup percolator and was pleasantly pleased. It fits perfect. Glad I bought it. Will buy again when needed.

I bought this condiment caddy specifically for an elote bar. It worked out pretty great! It held just the perfect amount and clean up was so easy. I also got a lot of compliments too on the display of all the different condiments. The unit itself is very sturdy and seems to be high quality. The bottom has an area to put ice to keep any cold condiments like sour cream cold.Really just a great item!
