Junk, will not hold zero between measurements. It was off when it arrived, I calibrated it with the spanner wrench, checked it against the arbor, and it was off again. I was measuring a set of pistons (8 of them), and after measuring each one, it was off again. Sending it back.

It was pretty precise, leave in the case Don’t bang it around . if you’re doing highly sensitive operations that need to be down to the .001 might wanna up it a bit to a better quality. I like it though.

I should have known when I opened the box, and the micrometer was significantly off, that there would be issues. If they can’t calibrate it at the factory how successful would I be? After numerous attempts at calibrating with the spanner tool with the 4” spacer, I gave up. I’d calibrate it, take a measurement and check calibration to see that it was off. I’d recalibrate, take a measurement and recheck calibration, way off again. This was cheap and it was a waste of money and was returned the day I received it.
