It fits ok on the GRIII and you can use it with a filter attached but make sure the diameter is small enough that the hood slides on over it if you want to use the hood and filter combination. The wide angle/macro attachment fits snug and works as it should.

This product is amazing! Got this for my hubby who likes to shoot wide angle with his Ricoh. He says it’s easy to use, works well, and gives some extra weight to the camera (which he doesn’t mind). Great price for the quality!

This lens attachment barely attaches to the camera. I'm pretty sure it's going to fall off. I feel anxious even trying to use it so I just can't. It is not usable.

I was curious about how a combination macro/wide-angle lens accessory for the GRIIIx could work. Upon receiving, I can say that this is produced with some pretty good materials and excellent finishing. The adapter, rectangular lens hood and conversion lens are all made of carefully machined metal, and there's a lot of hefty glass in the lens elements. For the price, you are getting a lot to work with: the adapter fits on in place of the lens ring on the camera, and allows for screwing on 49mm filters. That in itself makes it useful for me.The conversion lens in practice is a bit less impressive. It's not super sharp, especially the macro lens. It makes the autofocus hunt a lot, such that I found it easier to set the camera to its own macro mode, then set manually to the minimum focus distance and just move the camera & lens forward or backward to get proper focus. It's a bit better performance with the wide-angle piece attached, but I don't find that it increases the angle of view that much. It's rather bulky and heavy to use on the tiny GRIIIx considering you're not getting that much of a difference. All in all, it's not a high-end lens so you shouldn't expect a ton from it. I'll mainly make use of the adapter and hood. One more little quirk is that there's no way to set the hood on perfectly without adjusting it. I find it easiest to get it lined up by setting the camera on a surface and tilting it, then lining up the bottom of the hood with the surface. But it's fairly easy to bump back out of alignment. It's a press-on hood so it moves rather freely.

I never leave home without my Ricoh GRIII, and this 2-in-1 conversion lens has quickly become one of my favorite accessories! The wide-angle lens gives me a slightly broader field of view, making my street and landscape shots feel more dynamic at 21mm. It captures everything beautifully and adds a great amount of character, especially around the edge of the frame. The distortion is minimal, but it's a wide-angle adapter, so that's usually what you're looking for.The real surprise was the macro lens — just remove the wide-angle, and boom, you’re up close and personal with incredible detail! The 10X magnification is perfect for capturing intricate textures and small objects. Be sure to press the little flower button on the camera to activate macro mode and take advantage of the extremely close focus plane. You can basically focus right up against the glass because of the added distance between the lens' front element and the camera's sensor. The 49mm adapter ring fits perfectly, and the lens hood is a great addition to control glare. This combo is easy to carry, and the versatility it offers makes it a no-brainer for any Ricoh GRIII owner. Definitely recommend!
