Overall, well made and solid feeling handles compared to a different company that uses stainless steel handles. This is better, except there were some irregularities and pitting in the marble so will return this one and consider ordering a replacement.

I had a marble rolling pin with wooden handles. The handles didn't last a year but my repair made the pin last for 30 years until It broke. This rolling pin replaced it and I love the metal handles and the weight of it is just right for rolling out my oil pie crust. A pin made of marble is a better choice for rolling dough because of it's cool heft. I recommend this rolling pin.

I love this product! I use it when I'm making pastries or just baking in general it is very heavy and it stays cold so it works well when I'm making my croissant dough and everything has to stay cold. I use this more than any other of my rolling pins. The little stand is very nice I didn't think I would need it but honestly it's just nice to know I can put it anywhere I want in my kitchen and it's not going to roll around.

Marbling isn’t as pictured but that is to be expected with marble, works great.

I've been replacing many home items due to a fire so have not had a chance to use everything I've purchased. I like the look of this rolling pin. It does come with a marble stand. It's fairly heavy, but seems to move freely. I purchased this one because the handles were aluminum & not wood. Some reviews of other rolling pins mentioned the wood handles had cracked. Thought this might be a better choice. Some people like to put their rolling pins in the freezer before rolling out pie crust so icy metal would be more uncomfortable to handle than wood. Just a matter of taste & how you use your rolling pin.
