Do you like shards of steel flying at your face? Then this blade is just the ticket! Definitely wear eye protection and a face shield but this blade ripped through 1/8” diamond plate like a hot knife through butter. I hope it has some longevity to it.

This is my first saw blade of this type. Part of the reason I got this one, is the RPM range was high enough to match my Craftsman hand saw (made for wood). This blade cuts 1/4 plate steel like butter. I also cut a bunch of 1/8 angle iron, 1/2 black iron pipe and lots of exhaust pipes. After all that, the blade appears just as sharp as the day I first used it. Don’t forget the safety glasses. My saw spit chips up at my face. A full face shield would be better.

Eats metal roofing for breakfast. Pleasantly surprised. Good cost and cut great. It ran through several sheets of metal roofing with ease and didn't notice an end in sight.

I purchased this saw blade to cut some plate steel. I was skeptical at best. I made several cuts in 1/2" mild plate steel. I used a typical handheld circular was an straight edge to guide the saw. I didn't push hard and allowed the saw to do the work. The cuts were incredibly smooth and the cut edges were actually very shiny, almost mirror-like. I highly recommend this blade for this purpose and will not hesitate to purchase again if/when this blade wears out.

I purchased this blade to cut salvaged roofing metal. The task was hardly a challenge for this blade. Most of the time I rigged a guide to assure a straight cut. The saw blade sliced right through the 28 gauge metal. I did make a couple of freehand cuts that were successful. The only caution I would emphasize is WEAR EYE PROTECTION! I was wearing glasses that protected my eyes but I could feel my face being peppered by flying steel particles. I mounted this blade in my Milwaukee 7-1/4 inch circular saw without problems. I did need to manually rotate the blade guard to get started but once started, there was no further need to mess with the blade guard. I am very satisfied with this blade. Since it is still new, I cannot comment on longevity at this time.
