For most of my own drinking water needs, I use a large Brita water dispenser that fits on a refrigerator shelf; it tastes great and it dispenses water more quickly than the refrigerator water system does. I do brew a morning cup of tea using the refrigerator water system, and it tastes fine. I primarily use the refrigerator water system for the cats' water fountain, they seem very happy with the taste, and I don't have to worry about lead poisoning rotting their tiny teeth. The price of the FPPWFU01 replacement water filter is remarkable and I plan to re-order from this seller often.
