My computer was having issues and I figured it was my power supply. I ordered this one and installed it but my computer still didn't work. I brought my pc to best buy geek squad cus I was stumped they put in a known working psu and it booted. They tested my old psu and the one I bought off Amazon and they both didn't work. I'm sure most of these psu's work but the one I bought here did not.

I started college way back in 1994. I bought my first desktop computer for college. I did a lot of research on computers. I finally decided on a model that had an enormous 80 Megabyte hard drive. I didn't think I would ever fill that. As years went by, software programs grew in size. This meant I needed more memory and space. Today this PC is more like a smart watch! As technology quickly evolved, PC manufacturers kept up by making desktops modular or something an end user could add components to and increase memory, processors, hard drives, etc.So today, I still have a desktop PC. I just like the functionality of this design. I know lots of people have adapted to tablets and laptops. Through the years, immediately after buying a new PC, I would open it up and add components to upgrade before I even turned it on. I would also add my old hard drives just to make things easier with the transition from old to new. My somewhat new gaming PC is fast and functional. I like being able to upgrade. I stuffed that thing full of hard drives too. This puts demands on the stock power supply. So here I am again, 30 years later, assuming that I will never need all this power. But... I might want to upgrade my graphics card or processor. This power supply should let me do that easily. This unit fits nicely in my case with room to spare. The included cables allow me to install all my hard drives. There is still plenty of room to add more. That is the intended design of this gaming desktop. It would be expensive to purchase a PC just to upgrade one or two components. I can rest easy now knowing that the power supply should last a long time. In fact, the manufacturer states a 10-year warranty. I have actually had a power supply fail. I blame it on the 'old school' spinning disk type hard drives. They are power hungry. My next upgrade might be larger NVMe hard drives or even external SSD. They are just so very fast. This power supply seems well designed and sturdy. It comes with it's own power cord and modular cables. My PC tower has plenty of room to accommodate these. Installation took about a half hour. It runs quietly. I can't really hear it with the case closed. I can't imagine needing more power in the future. But I once thought 80 Megabytes was huge. And it was! at one time. But with that said, I truly believe that this power supply will handle anything I throw at it. I will not go crazy with graphic card, memory or processor upgrades on this PC. I simply don't have the need to go that far. Good power supply. Good build. Modular is the only way to go.

This PSU is a beast! Not only can it power the highest end parts of the current generation without breaking a sweat, but it will likely be able to do this for many hardware generations to come. The PCIe ATX 3.0 socket, which has been a cause of concern with higher end hardware, on this unit fit snug an solidly, no give at all. Clicked in and was in FIRM. I really do not have any worries about this PSUs cabling in regard to this. Really great!Plenty of connectors for peripherals, though only having 3 8 pins may be a problem if you want to use a system with dual GPUs, like if you run a Linux VM setup or a multi system box, 3 is a little sparse in my opinion. The PSU itself runs whisper quiet, does not get hot even under load, which is quite impressive.Have it hooked up to my gaming setup currently and it just goes. No problem at all! While mine isn't the highest end of what's out there, a 4080 still likes to chug it some juice.Overall, good quality, good performance, good efficiency for the price.A pretty solid choice if you don't want go cash out for a 80+ plat unit.

My existing PSU in my system has outlasted multiple rounds of upgrades. It was only a 600W-ish unit and probably over a decade old. The fan started dying and getting noisy, so I decided to replace the whole unit rather than just the fan, since it was old. This one is way more power than I currently need, but now I'm ready for my next upgrade. My current system is only a 3060ti GPU, so I haven't used the PCIe 5.0 connector. But this unit powers my whole system with ease, as you'd expect. It's nice and quiet, which I appreciate. My system is not stuffed with fans - I've got just a single exhaust, the PSU, and the air cooler fan. The whole system is quiet, so a noisy PSU would be very noticed.I expect this to last as long as my old one, backed by its 10 year warranty.
