I have ordered a total of three of these gate wheels over the last couple of years and I’m so glad I did. I have very heavy wooden gates that should have had them on from the get go but didn’t. I noticed that the two remaining gates were beginning to “sink” for lack of a better word. So I’ve put them on with the help of a block and they are back in place. The block is there only because I don’t want a repeat and I like the extra insurance. The gates are back to being easy to open and close.

My office parking lot gate is 24 feet long and had 3 small roller blade wheels that didn't work well, especially with lumps and bumps in the asphalt. We replaced the end wheel with this and now the gate swings without any trouble. We'll probably get two more for the other sections for added support. A+

Great value. Easily conformed to my need.Caveat: If bracket is mounted flush on a gate, the wheel can rub on gate when moving in the direction of the wheel. I had to add a spacer to prevent this. If the bracket were 1/8" deeper, this wouldn't be necessary.
