This is a heavy duty key fob case. It adds a little heft and some length to the overall size of the key fob, which I don’t mind, one way or the other. If you just want a simple key fob skin, or a plastic cover, you won’t want this. If you want something rugged, heavy duty, different from the rest, and make your key fob indestructible, this is it. I am using this on my 2025 Tacoma key fob and it is a perfect fit. The silicone skin that goes over the key fob first has an extra button symbol that I don’t have, but that’s fine. The case screws together and the leather strap has a little carabiner at the end to clip to a belt loop or bag. I like it. Well made and provides nice protection.

I’m giving this key fob cover 2 stars for a couple of reasons. First, while it does protect my Toyota key well, the outer shell is quite heavy and bulky, which makes it less convenient to carry around.Second, and more importantly, the design has a major flaw. If your car remote battery dies, you can’t easily access the backup key because the protective case requires a screwdriver to open. But realistically, who carries a screwdriver around all the time?Overall, the product looks cool with its mech-style design, but it’s not very practical for everyday use—especially in emergency situations.
