This case is a perfect fit for my air three. Both rigid enough on the outside and soft enough on the inside to be reasonably protective of the drone.I have a suitcase style hard case that I keep it in most times, but this is great for when I want to bring the air three as a back up and I could just throw it in my backpack. I already have a backpack carrier for my mini for pro which allows me to store the controller, drone, and batteries. Now I can just toss the air 3 in the storage compartment of that bag without worrying about it being damaged. If there’s a shot that I need the 70mm lens for or the wind is too strong for the mini, I can quickly pull out the air 3 and bind it to the controller.This won’t be an everyday case for me but really glad to have it in my collection.Don’t knock this case because of the one star review. The dude got a used unit and that should have no reflection on the quality of the product. This should absolutely be five stars.

Snug fit for Air 3, padding seems fine for basic drop protection. Very compact case, not much bigger than the drone itself. Obviously no room for controller if using the RC2. Has a carrying handle but would have liked to have a couple of loops for a shoulder strap or similar. It does have one loop with a carabiner, but might be a little thin for clipping to a backpack or similar.Only other thing I'd like to have is a couple of spots for spare rotors. Wasn't too hard to fit in a couple pair, but they're just kind of just sitting in there with the drone.

This is a very well thought out case for only the Air 3. The A3 fits snug as a bug inside this case, and the material used inside the case is super soft, too. The outside of the case feels like a good quality & supportive material. I don't know what kind of graphic they were trying to emboss into the outside top of the case, but oh-well. The case has a carry handle, as well as a fabric tab to use the included clip for retention to another item. (like a backpack).I have another suitcase style case for ALL the A3 components, and for that case I use a blade retainer. This blade retainer is not needed for this A3 case, and actually there is no room for it if you try to use it with this single case. The fit is too tight, and you'd have to over-compress the lid just to try and zip this closed, as I've shown in the attached pix.
