Pelican products are usually ok. I bought a Waterproof Case Pelican Storm iM2975 Case with foam through Adorama and the sent me one without the pressure release valve. This valve avois the creation of air vacuums inside the case and makes it waterproof. I made the mistake to get rid of the box without reviewing the item. It is a Pelican case after all, right! Well, I began to modify the case weeks later and I realize the valve is missing. I contacted Adorama and they demanded a barcode outside the box to send the valve. When I requested to return it they send a warning that the item had to be new. I have already get rid of the box and cut the foam.... This was my experience with the box and the seller.

Have an Celestron 8SE telescope that we take with us when camping, as it is a significant investment and fragile equipment I needed something that would be rugged enough take on our journeys and survive the back of a pickup truck. This case was perfect in size and while it took awhile to cut the foam to support all the components for the scope it ended up fitting perfectly and I know it is very safe and secure in there. The layered foam blocks were easy to "pluck" out to create the perfect fit for the mount and the telescope tube itself. While the wheels don't travel over rough terrain well, they work great for getting the scope around the house and driveway, and the handles make it easy to load and unload. While I know your probably thinking the price is outrageous for a case, they are built to last, and built to protect. Highly recommended.

Big, heavy, tough. military looking. ok I didnt meet the minimum review requirement of twenty words, but thats really all you need to know about this pelican storm case.I guess I would recommend this case if you have a very specific need or purpose in mind for it. otherwise it really is overkill. On the other hand, it looks cool, so go ahead and put all the stuff you need for your disneyworld trip in it.
