I was a little hesitant to buy this without trying it on as my head is on the larger size (US 7 3/4) and every time I try to buy a hat online, especially novelty/costume ones, they almost always turn out to be too small. Happy to say that this fits me comfortably. The material is very soft and comfortable, with a little stretch in it so it should fit smaller heads just fine as well. The stitching is even, there are no scratchy tags inside, and all in all it's of surprisingly high quality.

I design arty hats. I purchase low cost quirky hats, to examine fit, style, and to make patterns.This hat is cute. It can be worn in 2 ways. The material is sort of fake, fake suede. It’s ok. Since it’s a reenactment hat for men, it’s not too small. Most hats are sized for small ladies. It’s about 7-1/4.I will do a lot with this design.
