Envelopes are more stiff envelopes rather than padded. These will be great for things that you don't want to be easily bent. But get the padded mailers or use additional packing foam foot more fragile items.

I’ve used plastic bubble mailer packages for years to send handmade card sets and small gifts. I saw these eco-friendly biodegradable kraft mailers and thought I’d give them a try.These are somewhat flexible. I thought when they described these as “cardboard” they’d be firmer.The adhesive is very strong, and I think are perfect when you need just a little more protection to get something small or flat to its destination.To describe these - these are brown paper envelope that is lined with corrugated cardboard on both of the insides. If you’ve ever seen one of those brown coffee cup wraps - it’s that thickness on the inside.I’m happy with these!

Seeking a secure way to ship my homemade greeting cards, I decided to try these rigid mailers, and so far, they've proven to be a reliable choice for this purpose.These eco-friendly and biodegradable mailers comfortably accommodate a 5x7" card and its envelope without adding noticeable extra weight. Measuring approximately 9.5 x 7" externally, they offer a usable interior space of nearly 6 x 9", making it easy to insert even thicker handmade cards. I was also pleased to find they work well for shipping and storing CDs in their jewel cases, as well as metal die-cuts. I now feel confident using these mailers for jewelry and other small, delicate items.The self-sealing adhesive strip is designed for secure closure – simply peel off the tab and fold over the flap. While the adhesive does seem strong, I personally add a strip of shipping tape for extra reassurance. The mailer offers good rigidity when oriented horizontally (with the opening at the top), but it's less rigid vertically. Overall, the sturdiness is satisfactory, although I did discover that the exterior can be punctured relatively easily, such as by a pen while addressing it, which isn't a concern for me since I use labels.For a simple, environmentally conscious mailing solution, these rigid envelopes are a handy and worthwhile option to have on hand.

These are great mailers, and I love that they're biodegradable. A much more environmentally friendly option than bubble mailers! My son uses them to ship Pokemon cards that he sells on Ebay, and they've worked perfectly for that. They're very rigid and protect his cards well. He places the cards between cardboard before putting them in the mailer for extra protection since some of the cards are quite valuable, but depending on what you're shipping, you may not need to add anything extra. These are a great value as well. Would definitely recommend.

These envelopes have the corrugation inside, so they are perfectly for their usage of mailing CDs and preventing bends, but the outside is hard to write on, so it is better to use a marker than a pen. The color is great. The seal is great. The only issue is writing with anything other than a marker. It's worth the purchase, and I'd get them again.
