Work and fit well but may have to use a 5 or 10 micron to filter the tiny partiles out.

Gets iron out of well water the substrate holds up fine but the plastic discs end up breaking when the filter gets dirty because the water pump creates too much internal pressure. I thought it might have been from improper coupling to the filter but has happened every time. For the price it’s a great primary filter for water storage.

I use these as the fist stage of my home filtration system. The 20 micron rating seems about right to keep most of the sediment away from the larger (and more expensive) 5 micron filters down stream. The 3 pack is nice as I tend to change them every 4-6 mos and I like having spares on hand.
