I don't know how this would hold up in everyday use but i needed one that didn't need batteries so i could always have one handy to use in my shop. You won't beat this hammer drill for the price. Just a well made product and the price is really unreal for what you're getting. It is really powerful and works great. Chuck is true, no wobble or play.

So happy I upgraded to a real, corded power drill. I love this thing. Power to spare and great accessories. Very very happy with my purchase.

My 5 star review of this tool package. I purchased this drill because I wanted a corded drill without a hand-tightening chuck for the smallest drill bits when I needed them to stay tight in the chuck. When I saw this deal I honestly did not expect too much as the price was incredibly low for the offer. However, I only wanted to add this to my name-brand cordless hand-tightening drill I already owned so I purchased the package. 1st project was repurposing 3 metal shelving units, you know the ones that have straight head screws with square nuts and are gray heavy-duty. Well, I needed the floor space they used up so I cut them in half from 6 shelves to 3 then mounted them on the walls from the ceiling down, and freed up the floor. I used hex head tap con 2-3/4 screws into cinder block walls utilizing the hammer drill setting (#2) and the normal drill setting (#1) for powering the tapcons into the block. The drill had one hiccup, a small piece of plastic was loose inside the drill body by the trigger area and it would trap the forward and reverse button at times making it stick in either gear. Not sure if it was like that or if I dropped it at some point but it came out while I was messing with the drill while taking a break, the drill performed very well ever since that first day, It has adequate power never bogging down, all the functions work as they should. The trigger is solid without any cheap loose feeling, and the same with the reverse/forward button and the lock-on trigger, they work and feel right. The keyed chuck has never lost grip of any bit even the smallest bits .NOTE the key holder did break rather quickly so I used a 3/4 x 6" velcro cable tie and made two holes to force the chuck key arms/or ends through. It is now stronger than the rubber one and works perfectly.FYI If anyone doesn't know what I'm referring to it is when you use a drill with a key-operated chuck to hold and release the drill bits. It is normal for the cord of the drill to have a chuck key holder fastened to the cord itself so the key is always with the drill and we are not setting it down and then looking for it every time we need to change out a drill bit. Well, the one that came with the drill broke inside two weeks and I replaced it with the velcro tie. I have used this drill a lot in 6 months and I have no problem giving 5 stars. Incredible price for this after market very usable drill.
