So I wanted to get a phone gamepad for emulating and playing fps games like cod mobile fortnight ect and tried some janky third parties that sucked.I Also have a clip that holds my phone and connects to a ps4 remote that works pretty great and I do recommend those. But I wanted something that felt more like a handheld. less like a controller Frankensteined to my phone. So I looked into options of the higher end and settled on a Sony backbone. And that was a mistake. That thing feels flimsy small in the hands and just overall seemed like a scam at 100 dollars. I returned it the day after purchase as soon as I could and then bought my second choice. This one.The "GamesirG8 Galleleo". And damn...it should have just been my first choice. Now the price is high and I don't know if any of these things are justified at being 70$+ but that's just my opinion. I would however buy this again at the same price so take that for what you will. The extendable phone holding bracket fits larger things than my phone and feels strong and doesn't seem to put any real stress on my devices. The usbc connector also bends up and down to fit your devices easily and without much resistance. This thing feels grea! it has comfortable hand grips nice sticks and buttons that feel durable. Hell the whole thing feels durable and actually made from something stronger than cheap plastic. It's more responsive than any of the others I've tried and it has changeable stick tops (A nice touch.)it feels really good in the hands. I'm 6'3 and have thin but long fingers so(Different hands may vary.)Overall I wish it could cost less than it did but it was worth the cost to me anyway. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone wanting a great phone gamepad.

TLDR: Unless you have an older iPhone that requires a lightning connection this is a clear best in class controller and the only one on the market worth considering at this time in my opinion. If you're on the fence and thinking about going a little cheaper just save for this, it's worth it. 100% without a doubt. for more specifics you can see my full review below. For reference, I have used quite a few mobile controllers previously. The Gamesir X2, The Razer Kishi and a Shenwen mobile controller. The Gamesir G8 is in a class of its own and will most likely be the benchmark for future revisions and mobile controllers in general moving forward.Starting with shape, The G8 has the profile of a full-fledged console controller in your hands without compromises. There are textured grips molded into the plastic of the back of the controller as well as the triggers which helps give a locked in feeling in the hands. I also like the placement of the face buttons analog sticks Dpad etc. with it being very close to standard xbox layout but just alittle more squeezed together. I absolutely love this layout. Shape/Ergonomics 10/10Components:I want to start with the weakest part of this controller first. The triggers are very light and lack tactility. It comes down to Personal preference but I think the feel of those triggers could be improved. Overall they are very usable though so it shouldn't be a dealbreaker for most and that being said they are still best in class so yeah... Triggers 7/10The bumpers are clicky and feel good no complaints here. Bumpers 10/10The face buttons are a bit spongey and bottom out to a satisfying click it feels very premium.Facebuttons 10/10The DPAD is excellent it rolls and is clicky and responsive very solid in fighting games although it might take some time to get used to if you've never used a rolling DPAD like I have. however, its extremely comfortable to use and accurate once you get used to it. If there was some way to make it feel just a bit tighter it would be perfect. DPAD 9/10Analog sticks, OH BOY FPS games are now fully playable on mobile. These sticks are full sized and absolutely slap. Hall effect yada yada I could go on; just know they are probably better if not on par than what you're rocking on your main controller. Analog sticks 10/10Lastly we have the quality of life stuff; Its all here passthrough charging. An aux jack which I use ALL the time by the way please keep doing that Gamesir. A home/guide button. Screenshot button is cool. start and select are in very acceptable places and sizes and 2 mappable rear paddles. The faceplates are also hotswappable so I'm interested to see how customizing those will look in the future. Overall I'd give this mobile controller a 9/10 which in my own words means its DANG NEAR PERFECT.Shape/Ergonomics 10/10Triggers 7/10Bumpers 10/10Facebuttons 10/10DPAD 9/10Analog sticks 10/10
