Horrible quality, bolts didn’t even align with the assembly holes. On top of everything, I could barely get it back in the tiny box to return it.Not all vendors are equal.

Works great and pretty easy to adjust for the right fit. I might buy a bigger strap for the top if I use it for extended hours.

I like these but they rack a bit. Not snug at the pivot bar. They work. The reason for the bad rating is the instructions are absolutely worthless. I had to go to Dura-Stilts web site and downloaded thier instructions and improvised for these. A crying shame putting out paper like this, absolutely worthless.

This was my first pair of drywall stilts. I've always wanted a pair but have never really had a "need" for them. After fighting with a short cumbersome step ladder for the past 5 years to put up simple Christmas lights across the front of our single level house, I decided it was time to try something new. That's where these GCCSJ drywall stilts came in.The stilts themselves are almost all aluminum, with some plastic components and galvanized hardware. They're surprisingly light, but for something strapped to your foot, I think that's a good thing. Though light, they definitely feel sturdy and stable and I don't ever have the feeling that something is going to break and I'm going to take a spill. They come mostly assembled with the main lower part of the stilts in one completed assembly, you just need to attach the upper stabilizer portion that straps to your leg for added stability. Though they come with instructions, they're definitely lacking in clarity and illustrations and I had to turn to YT online videos to find some more specifics on the ideal placement for the supports and how the straps work. I also have very wide calves so the pre-curved calf cups are a little narrow for me to squish my big calves into, but I was able to angle them a little and situate them a little lower on my leg and still have them feel nice and stable. I don't think that's a design flaw at all, I think for most people the opening is perfectly sufficient, I know I have wide calves. You will need some wrenches to complete the assembly of the upper portion, but it's not overly complicated and doesn't take long. There will be some trial and error here as you'll have to test fit them to get them at the right position for you personally and it's hard to do that unless you're standing on them and bending your legs. I found the best solution for me was to sit on a table and attach them and briefly stand up on one leg while holding a wall to see where they hit on my leg. You also have to adjust the heel cup based on the size of your foot/shoe. You sort of want your foot a little forward so your leg is centered over the main part of the stilt. After a little bit of up and down and a few adjustments I had them comfortable and dialed in and was ready to start walking. The tutorial videos I found online recommended practicing with a long pole to give yourself some stability while you're getting comfortable so that's what I did. The stilts themselves are actually pretty comfortable. The straps and metal buckles don't feel awesome on bare skin so I recommend wearing pants or long socks to give yourself a little barrier, but it's not too bad. The hinge mechanism of the stilts works great and absorbs a lot of the impact of each step and sort of lets you naturally flex it forward while leaning into the next step. It definitely takes some getting used to but once you get the hang of it it's almost second nature. The stilts extend to a much higher length than I'm comfortable with right now as I'm still learning, so I've only been using them on the lowest setting. Still, they get really tall (up to 40 inches!) and they lock firmly in each position so I'm sure they'll feel just as stable when fully extended. When I'm more experienced and comfortable on them, I'm sure I'll find an excuse to extend them that far. For now, the 2 feet of additional height they give me even on the lowest setting is more than enough to put up Christmas lights and do stuff on my 10 foot ceilings in my house without a ladder. The stilts are $138.99 at the time of this review and considering the build quality and their functionality, I think they're a great value and I'm a little disappointed I waited so long to get a pair. I actually really enjoy walking around on them and I find myself trying to come up with other things to use them for. Oh good, that light bulb in the ceiling needs changed! Let me go get my stilts!Overall I'm very happy with these things and I would definitely recommend them.

I was a bit skeptical at first with trying drywall stilts. I have a hard time enough walking, let alone adding another 2 feet to my height, but figured why not try them. So far, they are great! They take some time getting used to and frankly are a bit on the awkward side. But I will say, once you strap in, and get your balance they work quite well. It will take some more time with a drywall knife and box but in due time these stilts will reduce time! Trying to tape and mud ceiling seems is a daunting task, especially move the ladder several times throughout the process. These drywall stilts are going to be a time saver for sure. They are built well and have plenty of adjustment. The straps are strong and the top one is a self-latching which is great, especially when you’re trying to get your balance. The aluminum construction is solid, yet lightweight. This is a big deal when you strap on another 2feet of height. These fit well and should provide plenty of support for drywall work, window cleaning, and even hanging those Christmas lights!
