Mounting holes for the SBC are unthreaded and not sized for any common screws.

This is a good case for installing a Pi in enclosure with a DIN rail. The case fits good, but you have to be careful putting the case together as the buttons on the Pi can get caught in the case. Just be sure to take your time putting that case together. For me I had an issue with the SD card in this case as the fan seemed to go out on me. The heatsink was always hot and the SD card was heating up. Eventually it failed to boot so I moved the pi to another case. My guess it I just got a unit with a bad fan, but I should have linked my software that told me the temp of the Pi for monitoring. Lessons learned.

Disclaimer: I don't have mine mounted on a DIN Rail. Rather, I'm using the keyhole slot on the back, mounted to a wall.I have not done load tests to thoroughly test the heat dissipation, but for what I use it for, I've not experienced excessive heat. I firmly believe the huge heat sink w/ fan & integrated case fan help overcome the potentially heat dissipation not achieved w/ a plastic case.Likewise, I'm sure the plastic case was also chosen for the intended installation location... Ie. added safety from dielectric plastic, rather than aluminum, etc.As others have stated, this case is definitely more difficult than others to open. But that, too, is less of a concern for me, considering the product's intended use. Being in such an industrial or "utility" location, I'm sure it'd be opened far less than, say, a hobbyist or tinkerer.Fans are a bit louder than other RP cases I've had, but that's also not a huge concern for me, nor would I expect it to be for somebody installing on a DIN rail w/ countless other pieces of equipment. I'd much rather sacrifice a little noise to ensure a cool system. For what I use it for & for what it's intended, I see this as a decent case that does what it needs to. It may not be the fanciest or coolest looking case, but it's also not as expensive as a fancy or super pretty case either.

The HDMI cable I am using does not connect properly thru the HDMI cut out in the case. I think the case plastic is a little too thick, or the offset of the board has it to far back on the case. Ether way, it does not work. Filed out a larger hole, works

I chose this case primarily because it is not metal, and the active cooler does not cover the WiFi antenna. Both are important to allow good WiFi performance. This case cools the Pi in 2 ways.1. With an active cooler.2. Case fan.I ran stress --cpu 4 on the Pi, and the temperature got to the 50s after about 30 minutes. So, the combined cooling of the two fans was amazing. With no case fan and the cover off, the active cooler was able to keep the Pi in the mid-40s at idle. However, as soon as I performed any action on the Pi, the fan kick on. When I ran the stress test on the Pi, it got to in the mid-60s.Many issues with the case.1. The fan is loud.2. There is very little clearance so be careful not to damage the power button of the Pi when you put on the cover. This also means it will be tricky taking the cover off later. However, I do not really see myself doing this until I upgrade the boot device to NVME.3. There is no external power button, you you have to insert the provided screwdriver in the power button hole to active the power button.4. You need a pair of tweezers to remove the SD card.5. It is an ugly case, but since you can already see this on the product page, this should not be a legitimate concern.I am giving this case 5 stars primarily because of its cooling excellent performance. This makes up for its other shortcomings.
