This headband cover for the ATH-M50x headphones is dead simple to install. It doesn't require any disassembly of the headphones, and all one needs to do is to adjust it to where fits the headband the way you'd like, then snap it shut.The snaps stay out of the way on either the front or back edge of the head band, depending on which way you've installed it, and it stays put once snapped. It's comfortable in use, I really don't notice much difference at all from the original. And better still, no more PU leather crumbs in my hair after using my headphones.

I own a pair and I'm definitely going to be ordering more of these!The material is soft (non-abrasive to fragile hair) and breathable. It's a bit stretchy so if your headphone band is a bit bigger, it's not an issue - it will just require a bit effort to wrap around. I'm currently using these on my HyperX cloud headphones and it fits like a glove.The push buttons are stitched on a little too close to the edge so every time I open them, I'm scared I'll pull it off! I have to carefully open them and it feels fragile, but they are actually quite strong once closed.I've washed them several times by now and they do not shrink or get damaged in a normal wash cycle. I've also put them in the dryer with no issues.

it works well, it covers up the unsightly peeling headband and keeps peeling off pieces off my face/hair. It doesn't add much to any padding/bulk. I wanted a little extra cushion so stuffed cover with strips of a microfiber cloth, helps a little not very much though. Got it to make my aging headphones look a little cleaner on work zoom calls.

It fits on the Audio Technica m50x perfectly. You might need to give the cover a slight stretch but once the buttons clasp together, they don't come off.
