If you are a music hobbyist, podcaster, or Youtuber who is on a budget, you can do a lot worse than this mixer for your audio needs. With a full suite of features and good production quality for its price range, this is proof that budget gear doesn't have to mean poor quality gear. Controls are straightforward, included options are pretty robust, the FX modules are pretty solid, and overall it's a good package. I have no problem recommending this.

The pros and cons of this mixer depend on the environment in which it is being used and the user’s experience level. This mixer performs well as a house mixer meant for bar or live microphone setups. However, it may not be suitable for traveling DJs. It is larger than the Yamaha MG124 12-channel mixer but has only eight channels. The casing is made from stamped steel, which gives it a sturdy construction. One advantage of this mixer compared to Yamaha and Behringer models is its power cord. It uses a standard power cord, similar to those used for computers or self-powered speakers, making it easily accessible and eliminating the need for specialized cords.Phantom power is provided via one button for channels 1-4 and another button for channels 5-8. It’s essential to pay close attention to which microphones require this feature and where they are connected. The instructions are adequate for someone with experience but could be more detailed for a novice learning the ropes. After some experimentation and time invested, this mixer can produce an excellent live sound, but it requires some work to get it right. My overall impressions of this mixer are very favorable. It can perform exceptionally well in the right hands and with the right experience.
