So hard to tune a floor tom and not have it ringing like crazy... this made life so much easier for a tight rock thump after I added a remo muffl ring and a few moongels to the topside, with this on the bottom head. I have these on 12" rack tom, 15" floor tom, and 16" floor tom. It's a bit big for the 12" but still works.Its a little tricky to get the angle right and have it apply the right amount of pressure without it rattling but pretty much once you have it set up its good to go. Great for killing the ring of the bottom head without sucking all the tone.
