Premature failure. Installed the filter on 12/08/24. Started getting "ADD WATER" message on 12/27/27. As of today (12/28/24) icemaker has stopped making ice due to water not passing through the filter. Removed the filter and icemaking continued. Will try the other 2 filters and will update if necessary. The water I use for the icemaker is filtered both at the well and goes through a multi-stage under-sink filter as well. Don't think the water is the issue here.

Just as described and they work just as well as the Opal brand filters. I will order again!

Works well and produces much cleaner ice. I wish I knew to buy these filters when I first bought the ice machine

I don’t know if the filter allows sediment from the water to pass through or if the filter passes carbon or other content into the ice. The water reservoir gets cloudy quickly. The side take looks clear. The only difference is the filter so I think it leaks. I feel like the filters remove other sediment so there is a trade.I also worry about the additional strain on the ice maker. It makes a lot of noise with a filter.
