Worked great for 3 months, then the lid that holds the valve cracked. Now it won't do the one thing I bought it for. Less than useless to me now.

I purchased this for camping trips , to have extra water available , as sometimes we camp at primitive sites. It is very sturdy and the material is thicker than others I have tried. . I used the container for the first time last weekend and was very happy with it. I like the small port on the large cap , which enables water to flow more freely , when pouring . I also like that the extra pour cap can be screwed inside onto the large cap , so you don't lose it when changing from one to the other. The opening is big enough to fit my shower pump, so that is also a plus. Overall , a very nice product . I ended up buying another one , as a 5 gallon seemed a little too big to maneuver.

The big cap leaks. I’ve tried multiple times at different tightnesses to test this, but it always allows water through. If the jug stays upright, and water level is kept below the big cap, you should be good, but if it falls over during transport, leaks you will have.I have yet to receive my replacement water jug, in addition, I recently took another camping trip where I used the leaky water jug and the water spigot broke completely and is no longer able to be used. This is the worst product I have ever purchased through Amazon.

I like that the dispensing valve is screwed onto the inside of the large lid. No looking for the dispensing valve when you need it. The small cap is safely stowed under the large cap when you put the valve on.
