Lets talk about the nice...This light has edge lit technology so there aren't any noticeable hot spots on the light.. very even from the center to the edge.Three power delivery methods and comes with the AC power adapter and 2 NPF batteries (makes the price point worth it).Decent sized light source to eliminate a harsh lighting effect on the subject; definitely not a compact light although could be very easily transported for mobile use.Easy enough to use and dial in.. although I've not messed with the bluetooth or NFC functions... I found no problems manually dialing in the color temp and intensity I wanted.Now the drawbacks...You can't hot swap the batteries... meaning, both NPF batteries have to be in the panel for it to be powered... you can't keep a continuous use if you need to swap a battery.You can't use just any USB-C power supply... if you think that you are going to use this method with something like a power bank, be sure that power bank offers at least 10w out to power the light.It has a proprietary mount. The supplied handle/lightstand adapter mounts directly to the panel via a proprietary mounting system. This deletes the ability to mount this to something using 1/4-20 or 3/8-16 threaded holes that could have easily been built into the panel. Likewise, if you break or damage the mount... you've pretty much trashed the light...I like it... I think its probably worth the coin to drop on it... I think there could be cheap(ish) improvements to make it that much better... which is something I would expect from Godox.
