Unreal price for the quality of these Tenkara rods. After paying hundreds of $ for all sorts of fishing equipment for decades is nice to have a simple fishing option that's fun and costs as much as a fast food burger. Go out and catch a few pan fish, maybe a small trout or perch.

While these are fishing poles, and work very well for that purpose, I bought them as a travelling HAM radio antenna pole. I can extend one of these out fully and get the length I need to connect my antenna to my radio and get a signal. The poles are very light, collapse into a small size, and seem to be pretty durable. I plan to keep one of these in my vehicle bag so that if I want to go fishing, I can. It's very compact and light so you can store it easily in a backpack.

I have a 12' rod by another company that I've been using. However I've been working my way through a very small creek with lots of overhangs little room to cast from the bank. No matter how much I try to shorten my big rod with tape and shorter line it was still hard to get into the tight spaces, especially with any kind of cast.Took this little guy out right away tonight and caught 4 in one of the spaces I couldn't get to earlier.Only reason not a 5 star is because it's obvious this isn't the quality of my other rod. The images also make it looks like it has a little bigger handle than it does. At least for my 5' version, the area you grip is really no bigger than the rest of the rod section. I added some tennis grip to it though and it feels a little better .

I like it being compact. Disliked it breaking at the tips.
