When I received them, they were quite stiff with sizing, so I washed them. After washing, they looked a little shaky, so I ironed them. They couldn't be hung without ironing them, because the tabs looked like a mess. I spent quite a while ironing them. The window is about 70" wide, and I installed two of the valances. I didn't think I would like the look on the white flat curtain rods, so we spray painted them green, like the tabs on the valances. I took several pictures. The first one shows the blinds closed, completely. The second photo shows the blinds open, with no lights on in the bedroom. In the third picture, the lights are on in the bedroom. I believe the colors in the valances show beautifully, and two valances are perfect for this 70" window. I don't think they would have looked this nice on a white curtain rod, though. I dread when I have to take them down to wash. But that's another day! They look really good with our matching bed quilt.

Love the colors and quality. Already had the bed spread and needed this for an extra window. The originals haven’t faded and still a perfect match.

I added these to the longer drapes of the same brand. I just love how they look. Lined as well, but lightly see through not black outs which is perfect for what I wanted.
