The colors of this valance were vibrant, but somewhat muted. It was sturdy and easy to place on the rod. The reverse side is the same color as the blue stripes on the colorful side. It matches the Katy quilt perfectly! The length is a perfect valance length.

Such a sweet, sweet find on line that really surprised me-price, almost custom fit, true to size measurement, fabric, and just plain old good quality! I had been looking for a striped pattern to match my new remodeling and was to the point of going back to a custom made valance when I found these. The reviews at the time were all very good and I took the same chance the other customers took and bought the first few to see if they were true to the reviews. As of today, I believe I have ordered a total of 14 or so. They are generous, well stitched, "even" at bottom after hanging, quilted fabric, required just a light pressing out of the package and ready to hang. Measure your window carefully because they are very wide so you may have to make adjustments on how many you will need per window. The fabric colors are not overly bright or glaring, but offer a perfect creation of color and texture to a room. Also, check your rod size if you are hanging on existing rods. I used 1" rods and probably could have used a little larger. If these valances have caught your eye, but still reluctant to buy, shame on you! They can be integrated with many different color schemes. Shipping is quick. Good Luck!

The bedspread and valances are a bit duller that pictured, but they do look nice together

Most of these on Amazon are short, which is barely long enough to reach across the top of my windows. These Greenlands are almost twice as long which allows you to bunch it up on the rod to give the traditional appearance of valence. With all the other ones it would be a stretched out flat appearance.
