I saw ppl complaining on here, cuz, they didn't know how to put it together... I got one and read the instructions... Put together just fine and works as required.

For such a cool concept this was very disappointing. Yeah, its a pain to assemble and yeah it barely functions to make anything but slivers of plastic. I guess if you spent the next six months perfecting this "craft" you might be able to produce something useful. Quite frankly you could do better with a pair of scissors and the same patience that this "tool" requires.

Works as designed, star off - due to assembly direction are a little lacking.

I thougnt this was a joke when I first got it. A tiny bag filled with tiny parts and vague instructions as to how the blade is supposed to be positioned once you screw everything together. If you get it wrong you'll have to remove the top plate and risk everything falling out and rolling all over the place. Highly annoying!! If you have big fingers you'll enjoy handling all the tiny screws and bushings they want you to put together. I guess that's how they cut back the cost but at least include some better instructions. I had to look on YouTube to find out how the blade sits inside and used painters tape on the back to keep the screws from falling out while I put it together. If it weren't for that I would've tossed everything in the trash. I definitely wouldn't buy this for anyone without putting it together myself because it's easy to lose a screw or other small piece and why put anyone through that frustration over some dog tags. Save yourself the time and find something that comes assembled.

Very easy to use, make as much cordage as you need in a survival situation. Took all of 5 minutes to assemble, and for those who wrote it was too difficult to assemble you probably shouldn't be in a survival situation. Excellent addition to my gear!
