Ok so I bought these to put on my sterling SR50 to replace the original springs. While these are dampened they are not dampened enough. Definitely an improvement over the previous set, but what I can report on these is that they are shorter than the original springs, slightly dampened, and I ended up putting painters tape on the springs just to kill any remaining noise. Would I buy them again? Probably not, I'd either get FU-tone or Floyd springs.

I bought some Ernie Ball Mammoth Slinky's which are a 12-62 set. That massive 62 has a lot of string tension, so my three stock silver springs couldn't hold the bridge down at all. I was initially going to replace all three springs, but that was way too much tension in the opposite direction. So, I ran a single red in the center flanked by two silvers on the outside. That made my 25.5" scale Jackson Floyd Rose perfectly balanced in C-Standard tuning. If you have a Jackson, be warned that those fools glued in the silver springs. I had to get pliers and a torch to get them out of the block. Be careful not to bend them around, or you might ruin the block with a broken off spring inside.

I really like the Floyd Rose red and green springs. And when I found this comparable inexpensive option I had to try them. I’ve ordered hardware from Guyker before and it was always reasonably priced and good quality so seeing the red springs and I compared them to my existing Floyd Rose springs and these are sold. I highly recommend

Not the greatest quality, but they were cheap. Quite tensile, only needed two to feel the same as three ordinary springs.
