Reviewing HiDock H1E AI Voice Recorder, I’ve been looking for a good transcription service or software and have yet to find one that meets my teams’ needs. When I saw this device, I snatched it up, hoping for the best.Luckily, I did not have a bad experience like the previous reviewer. Hopefully, they just received a bad unit. Mine works flawlessly. It is an excellent transcriber. It doesn’t make a lot of errors, like the other solutions I’ve tried. It clearly dictates changes in speakers and the AI summarizations are on point. You can subscribe to their premium service if you wish for the speakers to be identified. With the basic plan, it can export to .txt only, but with the premium service, you can export to .txt, plus Word, PDF, etc.The noise cancelling feature is excellent and there’s no lag. I LOVE the note-taking capabilities. I can add labels (tags) so I can easily find the specific items I’m looking for later. The device does take up some desktop real estate, but it has a nice design. All-in-all, this is a great transcription device that is well worth the cost and if you have a regular need for transcribed meetings, the premium features are worth subscribing too. They save so much time and effort.

I'd much rather give a full review of the myriad features described in the ad for this device. But I've already spent too much time even trying to talk to the device. My PC does not see the device when plugged in over USB. And while my laptop's Bluetooth console does see that there is a HiNote H1E to connect to, after hours of trying, I cannot Bluetooth pair to the device. In fairness, I should note that the HiDock is trying, or at least seems to be trying. Every time I press the Bluetooth "pairing" button, the speaker belts out "pairing!", in English.The manual for the product has some similar technical difficulties. It mislabels the Bluetooth pairing button, for instance, as a power button. Other times, it has problems with basic English, or Imperial units - describing 10 meters and 33 inches as equivalent distances. I am sure they meant feet, but when nothing is working, this level of effort editing the production manual matters greatly.I tried to install the HiNotes AI application on my laptop. But, of course, it requires seeing the dock attached to my laptop, first. Well, as you recall, my PC can't talk to this device. So this was ALSO a failure. Strike 3.If you're still reading, and it's not obvious by now, I don't recommend this device.
