This wire was recommended for splicing the LED lights that I purchased. It worked very nicely, but make sure you have the correct wire strippers for the stranded wire.

Nice and easy to use, pinch the tabs down with your fingers and it sets in tight. Great to transition from wire leads to COB strips without soldering. I know the sticky tape won't hold but I'll see how long it does.When it finally let's go, I'll either use hot glue gun of a very small screw and a tab to make it permanent.

If you need a diy rope light and need wiring this is a perfect product! The only problem I have is with the connectors that come with it, they don't work at all. Because the connectors don't work I just soldered the wires myself to the rope lights and they worked perfectly! (If you can solder this is perfect for you, if not I would suggest your local hardware store for possible help)
