My daughter loves spending hours drawing and learning her letters on this, the build quality is great and will last years.

I purchased this for my daughter who is at the age where she is discovering new things and truly loves to do new things. She is in the phase where she loves to mimic what I do, so I have been drawing, writing and she "attempts" do to the same. This item is sturdy and a beautiful design. I absolutely recommend this item!

My daughter has been playing with this easel non-stop. Easy to build, easy for my child to flip from chalk to marker, which in turn all makes it easy for me to love!

We have a decent amount of Hape toys that we love. This was the first one we got that needed assembly and were sadly disappointed. As seen in the photos, holes did not light up and we were not given the correct screws for one portion. We were able to drill bigger holes and found an extra screw the correct length in our toolkit, but definitely gave us an extra pre-Christmas headache we could have lived without.Once assembled it’s a decent piece. We purchased this for our toddler and the biggest downer is the mechanism to attach paper. It a glance it looks like a large clip, but you actually have to unscrew and rescrew knobs on the opposite side to loosen the red piece to slide paper in and out. Something he won’t be able to do on his own for quite a while. The chalk board also does not erase well and needs water to clean it each time, which is annoying.
