If you have ever installed a cell phone or tablet screen protector, you can easily install this pick guard. This was installed on a Taylor AD17e, natural / satin finish, and was a perfect fit / replacement for the plastic factory guard. Some reviewers say the material is too thin. Time will tell, but, it seemed just right to me. Adhesion was good, but I can see where removing and replacing the guard could be problematic. Insure that your surface prep removes ALL dust from the guitar surface. Carefully place the guard on the guitar and smooth the film with the provided card. That's it.Edit: I initially edited my earlier post to note that my pickguard had come loose while "strumming" my guitar. It had been on for almost 3 weeks. Since I could not get it to lay flat, and I thought I would have to replace it, I decided to remove it. When I pulled the loose piece, thinking the pickguard would come off, the loose piece was "actually" the "protective cover" on the pickguard. The underlying "pickguard" was still firmly attached! SO, make sure after you install the pickguard, to remove the thin film protective pickguard cover - DUH.

We applied this to a classical guitar being played acoustic style. Almost invisible which in this case was nice. Super thin, but after a year's use is holding up well. No issues other than we were initially expecting two shields due to the images included with the ad, but only received one. Can't say whether this shield is better or worse than any of the other ones being sold on Amazon but it has met our needs satisfactorily.

Zuerst, die Beschreibung ist nicht ganz korrekt, in die Packung sind 2 stuck, ein als Teardrop und die andere abgebildete Form.was besonders schlecht ist das die nicht lange kleben bleiben nach zwei Wochen losen sie sich von die Gitarren. Echt schade.

Protection transparente(2 modèles différents dans la même boîte), qui se pose facilement et ne se voit pratiquement pas. Ma guitare n'étant que légèrement vernie, j'espère que ça ne laissera pas de trace. Petit matériel de nettoyage et de pose fourni.
