By cheap, I don’t mean low cost. I mean it is a low quality, poorly constructed tool. Perhaps I received a bad one. If you order this, good luck!

I bought the set I thought, but you just get one of them and to beat it all it’s the smallest one of the set is all you get. And it’s hard to use. So don’t waste you money, buy a set it will tell you you get the set of another brand the red handles is a great buy and they work the best.

Didn't have high expectations when I ordered because of the low price point, but i figured that I'd give it a shot. On the positive side, this item came in way sooner than expected. Upon first inspection, I was very excited to see that the handle is made of a very good type of wood. The finish is very smooth, and overall it has a pretty good weight to it...that's where the quality starts going down the hill a bit. The collar looks like it was put together very quickly. The metal part when held upright leans to the left, and the collar came with a thick blob of dried glue. There is a marking on the blade that shows the size, which usually is very useful. But not in this case, since mine is marked as a #5 but it's actually a #1. The tip in my opinion, is the most important part, so I was disappointed to see that very little effort was put when making this tool. It is cut crooked, so the beveling part leaves a crooked finish on the leather edges, and to top it off it was very dull, scratched up and dirty straight out of the package ( perhaps a re-packaged return?). All in all, I wish I would have paid a bit more and got something that is of better quality...i would return it, but the hassle to get my money back from something purchased from China is just not worth the effort. Oh well, I guess I'll save up for a Palosanto.
