I originally bought it for my black mouth curr but it was to small for her so I used it for my shepherd mix toddler looks good and fits her nice but she did grow out of it as well eventually.

I took it out of the package, put it on my dog, shifted it to adjust it and it broke immediately. Unfortunately the other reviews are true and this thing is junk. I have over 40 items from H&D so I know better than most. They have no quality control there. Some things I order and am super excited about abs they show up and they are garbage. Not worth more than a couple bucks. Other things I order end up being my favorite things in the world. It is very hot or miss with them. There isn’t much uniformity in what they produce, so you kind of have to search out products to fit what they put out. Sucks about this harness because it looked like it would actually fit my dog.

Sturdiness, along with piece of mind, is everything. Finally a quality product my dog will not snap! The chest straps should have a couple extra inches stretch room on them, but at this price I’ll figure out a way to make it a better fit for comfort. Thanks.

Color was perfect for my dog. During a walk he was scared by a car and juked away from me and the leash hook was juked pretty hard. Leash hook broke away from the leather leaving the harness no longer useable. Sales had one for me in order and ship same day. Cooper loves the leash and I can’t wait until the replacement gets in.Update: Received after a couple of day and it’s just as well made as this first one. Love the design of all their products.

We were so happy that we finally found a good, strong and sturdy vest for our beagle pup, but after less than a week of wearing it, it fell apart on the top clip that holds the harness on the back together.We are so very disappointed although the look is amazingly strong, it def was deceiving on the quality of the put together aspect, thank God this happened at home or we would of lost our pup because the clip also held the latch where the leach goes on.I think a refund is in order.
