Note, the curve of the potentiometer output is very strange. not quite logarythmic or linear. If you dont need precise values these will work fine but for my purpose i had to take an extensive dataset to precisely record the value at any position.

This was all I could find for a sliding pot with a knob on it but I wanted a linear response. Doing an arduino project so I can use the line equation to make it linear on the arduino output. The line fit is poly 3rd order. Pic shows the equation. What makes it hard is the response is very flat on the bottom and top 10mm of travel. So an exact fit requires 5th order which maybe a little much to calculate on the fly. The response is from 0-908 when 5v is applied so don’t calculate to 1023 when mapping.

Very smooth 10K audio-taper stereo fader. The fader knobs/caps are lemon yellow. 65mm travel, and the fader moves smoothly and feels great. The output pins fit into my .1" spacing breadboard. The ordering of the pins is awkward, but clearly marked on the fader (the pin for the wiper is not between the other two pins). I bought the Alitove 3-pin JST-SM cables to plug in to the pins on the side of this fader. Alitove sells them as a set of 20 males and 20 females, pre-wired with 15cm 20awg wire. All you need is a pair of the female connectors, and they plug right into these faders (after you trim off the tabs). Awesome little faders, now I can build a stereo mixer with blumblebee-yellow fader knobs!

I can't read. I didn't realise these were logarithmic. They were on the same page as given by a search for linear pots. I only looked at the price. They do , however, work perfectly and I am using them as spares for a sound mixing deck.
