There was some confusion for me when I ordered these because I thought they were going to fit the older model Ninja that I have. Instead they fit the newer model. I'm not sure if I read the description wrong but that's probably what happened since they list the ones that don't work along with the ones that do. I might have just seen my model listed on there and assumed that meant it would fit. Regardless they do fit one of my Ninja's and they look identical to the ones that came with it. Same quality, same design and same functionality. They did not leak on me nor should they because they are identical. Kind of pricey for just these cups but they are definitely cheaper than what Ninja would sell them for. So not bad I guess.

Unfortunately, I ordered the wrong size, but the blades are sharp

This is a FANTASTIC set! And since it comes with a bladed base, it makes switching from one blender bottle to another seamless! These are every bit as good as OEM! I hope later I can find the 32 ounce bottles for this! Will definitely buy again! Never hurts to have extra blade bases as well as extra bottles! No leakage, good tight fit, sturdy construction, easily seen markings. LOVE these!

As another reviewer mentioned, simply verifying the amount of fins on your original blades isn’t enough to ensure that the replacement will be compatible. As you can see in the photo, my original one (left) has six male fins, while this replacement (right) also has 6 fins, however they are female fins, so it doesn’t properly lock into place when placed on the blender.Of course, I wasn’t about to let this minor issue prevent me from making a milkshake with the new, considerably sharper (and more in-tact) blades, so I simply jammed a couple little plastic bits into the slots with the push button switches that are normally activated when the correct sized piece is locked into place. These two push button switches must be engaged in order for the blender to start. This is a safety feature (one which I have conquered). With those buttons held down, all I had to do was carefully position the thing on top of the blender and turn it slightly until I could feel a little resistance from it making contact with the fins in the base, then I just held it firmly in place, said a brief prayer, then turned the blender on. It actually worked very well. The blade is very sharp and did its job considerably faster than my old worn out one would have.Although it seems as if the manufacturer spent a bit of time on communicating the importance of verifying compatibility, it should have been mentioned that it is possible to indeed have the correct amount of fins and still have compatibility issues (male vs female). That should be made clear. Other than that, this is a solid after market product that I would definitely recommend (assuming compatibility is established).Disclaimer: although my solution was clearly as brilliant as it was brave, it may not necessarily be safe.
