I used it twice the same day and it's already leaking some kind of sludge back into my protein shake..... unacceptable...

I saw a youtube video about how to tell if you need a new ninja blade. It said that when the blade gets worn, there is actually a little leaking that goes on around the bearing of the blade, and that you could tell if your old one was shot by putting clean water in your blender and running it for maybe 30 seconds and seeing if it was still clean or had gotten cloudy.I didn't know whether to believe it or not, but my old blade was noisy, so I ordered this new one. I just ran the test, and because I had two containers I could see side by side (see photo) - what a difference! My old one was disgusting, and this new Ninja one is clear and beautiful.It was also slightly less noisy, but the main difference would have been invisible to me if I had not run this test.Now I think I should just replace these routinely, whether I know it needs it or not - or at least do the water check regularly.Also, the company must have gotten so many people returning this blade because they didn't take the time to check if their bullet had 6 or 7 fins - that they now include both, so you can be assured you get it right.

The blades on the the different Ninja Blenders are not all the same. Make sure you check the exact model number of your Ninja Blender to this product. I see there are replacement rubber gaskets with this blender but my I was not sure if I had the skill set to replace the one in my old blade.

I use my Ninja almost every day to make smoothies. I purchased a different supplier's replacement blade, but unfortunately that blade body began to crack and had other issues.After reading the reviews for this one, I tried it and it is a much better fit. It also doesn't wobble like the other one did. Works fine, and really appreciate the tool to remove and replace the gasket, as the thing I was using damaged the gaskets.you really do need to remove them at least once per week for a proper cleaning.Very happy with this product.
