Bought this for my granddaughter for the skates she got for Christmas. I love that it has two separate compartments so the skates don’t hit each other.

I keep my rollerblades in this bag with extra socks and my protection gear so that I am at the ready. At 50, rollerblading appeals to me the most for higher calorie burn & is more exciting/less impactful than running or biking IMO. Provided you get enough practice in to stay steady and not bust your arse. Anyway, what I like most about this bag outside of its looks is that the pocket for my socks, knee, elbow + wrist pads is in between the blade zip pockets. I bought 2 other bags for my sons that came in a standard blue and black color where the gear pocket was on the left side and then both blades went to another bigger side pocket on the right. Still functional, but wasn't a big fan of those.I use the extra clip bag for energy bars, tampons, and such. I clip my helmet to the top carry handle. One thing with the rollerblade that has the brake...I have to insert it at an upside down angle to fit. I'm smaller/short, but Mmy regular shoe size is a womens 9-9.5 and I sized 1 up on the blades. I think they are in the corresponding mens size, which I forget. I can't see bigger sized blades fitting comfortably into the bag, or at all, with the rubber brake still attached, as mine are. Something to keep in mind if you have big honking feet.

Used it for park inline skates/gear for 6mo, still holding up fantastic and get tons of compliments. The pockets are perfect and roomy for all your padding

I was hesitant to buy this bag due to all the size/tight fit complaints in the other reviews, but it actually fits my size 8 women's inline skates with some room to spare (even with the brake sticking out on the back). The middle compartment would easily fit pads, tools, and I think a helmet would too depending on the style (then the bag would probably be maxed for capacity). The material is not padded and is not reinforced with plastic inserts to structure it, but this seems reasonable for the price point. While the material seems a bit thin, the bag appears durable and well-made. It does not strain under the weight of my skates. The strap is adjustable and comfortable. I'm thinking about buying another one for an upgraded pair of skates. Happy with this purchase.
