Pump quit after 1 week. The seller (Online plumbing) won't respond to warranty inquiries. Amazon needs to do better in this area. Both the seller and pump are disappointing. Def won't buy from this seller NOR this pump again. I will get a better brand and make it work.

I had the pump installed by my plumber and after installation the ice maker did not work. He unhooked the pump and tested the ice maker and it started working. Now I can't get another pump for 2 more months! I tried reaching out and left messages for the company multiple times via Amazon chat but no one has followed back up with me.

This is the same pump that Hestan sells for their rebranded outdoor icemaker at less than half the price. Works great, the install was easy (in retrospect), and it is silent. Great product.

Yay!!! This is exactly what we needed for our ice maker. And because our ice maker is in our home, and not in a commercial location, there is not any company that will do repairs for us. My husband swapped out the pump (by himself) and it works just fine again :)

I bought this item to replace the water pump in my Hoshizaki under-counter ice maker, as it began to make a grinding sound. I contacted the company first, and was told that my existing pump was no longer the current model, and that the HS-5061 was its replacement. The service representative with Hoshizaki said that he didn't know much about the new pump because he had not had many calls about it.It arrived looking very similar to the pump I was replacing. The included instructions were very easy to follow and I had no trouble replacing the old pump with this one. Of note, vent and effluent hoses are included with the pump, as were screws and mounting hardware, so I needed none of the old parts-- quite handy and eventually necessary because the plastic on my old pump had become one with the old hoses and they would not have been easy to remove for reuse.THE HS-5061 IS FANTASTIC! It is almost inaudubly quiet, which is quite a change from the relatively noisy older pump. I do not hear it running. In fact, even testing it required close attention. No more hearing it cycle on night when I am having trouble sleeping, or having guests notice and make comments.Summary: exact replacement, easy to install, everything included, SUPER QUIET, and still keeps the shutoff function for the ice maker in case of an overflow which protects my floors. It does not look like the item in the picture provided by Amazon. It looks like the one I was replacing.
