I feared this item would be soft like the leather used on my gloves, but my fears have subsided when it came , RIDGED !!!!! leather the type of leather I like ,about the sizing : I used my wife's sewing tape to measure my measurements and I fit perfectly.for the measurements that were intended for Medium , I order the medium seeing everyones review saying order 2 sizes bigger, I'm glad I did not do that cause I would be swimming in this vest, but that being said it does seem to be form form fitting than my last one but that's a plus in my opinion.5/5 would recommend and buy again 100%

Ordered per reviews and could of went with a size smaller but best is really nice. My husband is pleased he is 210 with a belly and could of done with 2xl

For those that read the reviews, get 2 sizes larger... Not a joke, they run seriously small and be being a 3x shirt size I got 5x and it fit perfect.About the quality, it's thick leather and comes out of the box looking great. The lining unlike Milwaukee leather vests is thin so it doesn't feel as thick as you would expect. It's real leather and the stitching is great but the laces as others have said before is indeed cheap and WILL need to be replaced.For those that complain about it being short, that's the way they are meant to be. They are meant to be around the waist at most to prevent uncomfortable feeling when riding for longer distances, the tails on the front are to make up for it being short appearance wise when standing. If they made it longer you would have leather folds while riding and possible shape the vest, it's just better that way.Overall I would buy this again and would recommend it to friends as a great budget vest for biking, if you want top of the line pay for a Harley vest or Milwaukee but if your looking at this than chances are you are on a budget like me and want something good but not wallet breaking (or your wife hates you spending money on more motorcycle stuff and you go cheap to hide your splurging like me).
