La instalación Hotend
Paso 1: levanta el hotend, aprieta la boquilla en la parte inferior y la garganta en la parte superior, y asegura el tornillo pequeño en el bloque de calefacción.
Paso 2: gira la tuerca de aumento en la parte superior de la garganta y fija el bloque de aluminio en la garganta, para que el extremo de la garganta esté nivelado con el plano del bloque de aluminio.
Paso 3: fija el hotend al bloque de alimentación, conéctalo a la placa de cableado a través del cable del motor y conecta el sensor, el tubo de calefacción, el ventilador y el cable PT por separado.
Paso 4: Coloque los módulos conectados juntos en la chapa metálica de la cubierta del cabezal de impresión.

pros: Bimetallic, all-metal hotend. Simple design. Hardened steel nozzle.cons: Not dimensionally correct. Nozzle is not replaceable. Thermistor poorly located.(Adventurer 5M) The mounting bracket on this nozzle assembly that is supposed to clip into the existing extruder housing is poorly toleranced and does not fit properly. I thought it had clipped all the way, but it was just friction fit since it was too big to be received into the mounting mechanism. PID tuning the hotend and autobed leveling calibrated correctly. On the first layer, it came slightly unseated (again it wasn't clipped in although it felt like it) and it worked itself loose enough to start gouging the build plate.i was able to get it to clip in properly after sanding it down; however, the slots that the clips are received into are too big compared to the stock nozzle, so it still has some room to wiggle.The hardened steel nozzle is not replaceable as it seems to be glued into the heat-block with a thermal adhesive.Every time the silicone sock is removed, it takes the metal clip holding the thermistor and ceramic heating element with it which is really annoying.The thermistor is designed to be placed in the heat block almost in contact with the ceramic heating element. So the printer is detecting the temperature of the heating element not necessarily the heat block. Not functionally a real problem, but a weird design choice.

Immediate failure. Running the PID calibration after installation revealed an NTC error. Upon inspection of the product, the thermal paste holding the heating element to the throat was not at all effective and the thermistor ending is not secure even when the clip is in place. I missed the return window by one day because I bought this as a backup and didn't need it right away. If you do buy one, check it right away.

Not using with a Elegoo personally, just check your connections and sizes to see if this will fit. Can always change the connectors if need be
