I’m using this to power the filaments of 2 6.3 volt vacuum tubes. One draws .3 amps the other draws 1.5amps should be a total 1.8 amps. It won’t even power the 1.5 amp tube alone. It will power the .3 amp filament. This might work for the fly speaker but saying it will put out 2.5 amps is a flat out lie.

There are other brands saying they work with the Fly, look at some of the reviews….before you buy.

I had about given up buying a generic power adapter for the FLY3 since all the other ones appear to introduce hum and are the wrong power rating, but this one matches the official PSU and there is no hum. Its extremely lightweight which worries me a bit about the lasting quality potential, but otherwise its a great deal at half the price of the official PSU

Works great for my Fly 3 at probably the best price point I have been able to find anywhere! Side note, I am amazed that an unsealed box made its way from the States to Canada without any missing parts!
