I was given an old generator that was producing a weak amount of power. Enough to run a fan but not enough to fire a small compressor. I'm familiar with capacitors from fixing my microwave. When I took the end panel that houses the plug sockets I could see the capacitor was bulging out on the side opposite of the terminals. This one had a higher value than the original one but the description notes this one is a better upgraded replacement for the old one. I put it in and it did the trick!

It is an exact replacement for the 130uf 200V capacitor I needed for the powermate generator that blew out , No modifications required!

Replaced a Teapo 130UF capacitor in my generator and works fine, although the terminals are a little bit smaller. Had to use pliers to crimp down the terminals so the terminals wouldn't just fall off the leads on the capacitor.The darker terminal is negative -- make sure you don't connect the capacitor the wrong way, or, as another reviewer experienced, the capacitor will blow up.Didn't fix the issue of my generator putting out too high of a voltage at 60hz (currently getting about 135 volts at 15% load), and the capacitor is a bit underrated but still within 10% tolerance -- my multimeter tested it at 239-240UF instead of the advertised 220UF, at least an 8.5% difference. Despite that, my generator still seems to be putting out clean enough power. Will update if anything changes, of course.
