These worked perfectly for a homemade trap door I made for the garage loft. I bought 100lb struts and the included hardware didn't come close to getting the job done, so these beefy mounting points were needed. The door is around 60lbs, but due to the center of mass being way over the base of support, the weight is exaggerated and bend the previous set of mounting points. These worked very well and aren't budging. The balls pop into the struts with a satisfying amount of force, these aren't going anywhere. The screw holes are very well spread to get maximum leverage, and the thickness inspires confidence. Great buy!
